Book Sample Appraisal

Do you have a story or part of a story developed, and you just don't know whether it's worth pursuing?
Laura can provide a book sample appraisal for a flat fee of $175. This fee includes Laura undertaking the following:

• reading your sample for 2 hours, regardless of story length
• editing the first 1,500 words of your story

• providing a written feedback report.

The feedback report will include Laura’s assessment of your writing for its potential for further development and publication. The report will tell you if editing is recommended; however, editing beyond the first 1,500 words of your sample would be an additional cost.
Please note that this appraisal service does not guarantee that your story will be selected by a publisher. Laura will keep your sample confidential, and the copyright always remains with the author.
